Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Self Managed Service based in Netherlands.

Join a high-impact product organization focused on delivering enterprise-grade platform experiences for customers managing their own software environments. This role is ideal for a product leader who enjoys defining strategy, shaping roadmaps, and solving complex deployment challenges across cloud and on-premises infrastructures. Working closely with engineering, customer-facing teams, and technical stakeholders, you will improve product adoption, simplify enterprise deployments, and influence the future of self-managed platform capabilities. You'll have the opportunity to balance customer needs, market trends, and technical innovation while driving meaningful business outcomes in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

Accountabilities
  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for self-managed platform services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Own the customer experience for deployment and operation across Kubernetes, Helm, container platforms, on-premises, bare-metal, and air-gapped environments.
  • Gather, evaluate, and prioritize feedback from customers, partners, internal stakeholders, and the community to guide product improvements and innovation.
  • Manage and prioritize feature requests, product backlogs, and strategic initiatives to maximize customer value and product adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Documentation, Pre-Sales, and Solution Architecture teams to deliver enterprise-ready solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, customer demand, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and inform product direction.
  • Ensure development teams remain focused on the highest-priority initiatives while continuously improving deployment simplicity, scalability, and operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager working with enterprise software or platform products.
  • Experience managing products available in both SaaS and self-managed/on-premises deployment models.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including Kubernetes, containerized environments, and modern deployment practices.
  • Ability and willingness to work hands-on with technical products and understand customer deployment challenges.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of enterprise customer requirements, including security, scalability, governance, and operational reliability.
  • Experience working with banking, financial services, or insurance technology platforms is considered an asset.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from CAD $152,700 to CAD $251,200, based on experience, skills, and location.
  • Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP), where applicable.
  • Fully remote and flexible work environment with home office budget, coworking support, and flexible paid time off.
  • Annual company kickoffs, team offsites, local meetups, and connection budgets to foster collaboration.
  • Comprehensive healthcare and wellbeing benefits, including mental health support and lifestyle spending allowance.
  • Retirement and pension plans, plus life and disability insurance where applicable.
  • Annual professional development budget of up to $1,000 for courses, certifications, books, and learning resources.
  • Inclusive, global workplace committed to diversity, collaboration, and continuous career growth.
