Job description

Financial Planner / Senior Planner / Lead Planner (Remote)
$85,000 - $130,000 base + bonus
100% Remote (U.S.-based - PST preferred, not required)
About the Opportunity
A fast-growing, venture-backed fintech company is expanding its financial planning team and hiring multiple CFP® professionals across junior, mid-level, and senior tiers. This is a rare opportunity to provide high-quality, conflict-free financial advice at scale — without product sales, asset-based compensation, or pressure to push unnecessary solutions.
This firm is on a strong upward trajectory, has modern proprietary technology built specifically for planners, and is in a position to scale sustainably without relying on future funding rounds.
What Makes This Role Different
  • 100% remote — work from anywhere in the U.S.
  • No sales quotas, no cold calling, no product pushing
  • Flat-fee membership model focused on advice, not AUM
  • Dedicated investment, trading, tax, and operations teams
  • Planners focus on strategy, guidance, and client impact
  • Strong internal promotion paths and long-term growth
The Role (Level Dependent)
Planners work with a high volume of members across different life stages, delivering holistic advice around cash flow, investments, taxes, retirement planning, estate considerations, and major life decisions. You'll build trusted relationships, guide members to take action, and leverage in-house technology and support teams to work efficiently.
Senior and Lead Planners work with increasingly complex households, including pre-retirees and retirees, while mentoring others and handling more advanced planning needs.
Evening availability is required two nights per week to accommodate member schedules, though planners largely work within their own time zones.
Who They're Looking For
  • CFP® required
  • 1+ years (Financial Planner), 3+ years (Senior), or 10-15+ years (Lead) of member-facing planning experience
  • Comfortable managing a large, active client base
  • Tech-forward, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about delivering unbiased advice to people who truly need it
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary range: $85K-$130K depending on level
  • Bonus potential that grows meaningfully over time
  • Flexible PTO
  • Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid parental leave, certification reimbursement)
