Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify and evaluate the mental health needs of individuals seeking care.
  • Create personalized treatment plans that encompass clients' emotional, psychological, and social factors.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), tailoring your approach to meet each client’s unique challenges.
  • Engage in collaborative treatment planning with other professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical guidelines and state regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid license as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
  • A bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a passion for ongoing education.
  • Strong knowledge of various evidence-based mental health treatments and interventions.
  • A commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and effective therapeutic relationship with clients.
Preferred Experience

While not required, experience with trauma-informed care, culturally competent therapeutic practices, and familiarity with telehealth platforms will be advantageous.
