We're looking for aFinance Consultant to support our clients through financial analysis, planning, and advisory work that drives clarity, confidence, and smart decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, client collaboration, and helping organizations improve how they understand and use their financial information.


What You'll Do

As a Finance Consultant, you'll work closely with client leadership teams to assess financial processes, analyze performance, and provide actionable recommendations. You'll support a range of engagements, from budgeting and forecasting to process improvement and financial strategy, while collaborating internally to deliver high-quality consulting services.


Responsibilities

Client Financial Advisory

  • Partner with clients to understand financial goals, challenges, and priorities
  • Analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for client leadership

Planning, Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts
  • Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Evaluate financial processes and recommend improvements to support accuracy, efficiency, and scalability

Engagement & Collaboration

  • Contribute to client engagements by preparing reports, analyses, and client-ready materials
  • Communicate effectively with client stakeholders and internal team members
  • Support consistent service delivery across multiple clients or projects

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to shared tools, templates, and best practices for finance consulting services
  • Stay current on financial trends and best practices relevant to our clients
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Who You Are

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
  • 3-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or a related role
  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or advisory work preferred
  • Experience in school district finance preferred
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and accounting concepts
  • Experience working with clients or stakeholders preferred
  • Must successfully complete a background and reference check
