A Financial Analyst role at Actabl assists in the preparation and completion of periodic forecasts and budgets, variance analysis, evaluation of key performance indicators across the organization, model sensitivity and scenarios based on economic or industry indicators and assumptions, and maintain the latest industry trends and best practices.


Typical Functions:

  • Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Performing variance analysis and identifying key drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conducting ROI analysis of special projects and initiatives and providing strategic guidance to senior management.
  • Performing operational and statistical analysis of company operations and customer behavior using various tools and systems.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models, dashboards, and reports to support decision making and business planning.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide financial support and insights.
  • Researching and benchmarking industry trends and best practices.
  • Explore and apply AI tools in your day-to-day work, finding new ways to simplify tasks, accelerate outcomes, and elevate your effectiveness.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, preferably in SaaS or the hospitality industry.

Work Environment:

This position is open for remote based candidates located outside of the Denver Metro Area. Candidates must have access to a consistent and reliable internet connection, and may be asked to travel occasionally to the Denver area. 


For candidates located in the Denver area: this is a hybrid position with an expectation of working three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in our lower downtown office and two days (Monday & Friday) remote.

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $105,000 - $110,000/year depending on experience. Potential for end-of-year bonus earnings and periodic merit increases also available based on company and/or personal performance. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
