Job description

Our Story
TopDog Law is not your typical law firm. We're a nationally scaling personal injury firm built for impact and growth, growing the client experience end-to-end, from marketing and intake through litigation. We believe that world-class marketing, paired with exceptional legal talent and operations, creates better experiences and outcomes for clients and the business alike.
Over the past three years, we've grown 2-3x year over year, setting a new standard on the marketing side of the personal injury space and proving what's possible when strategy, speed, and execution align. Now we're applying that same discipline and innovation to firm operations, case management, and national scale, intentionally building the infrastructure, systems, and teams to grow without sacrificing quality, culture, or accountability.
We are a fully remote team that share trust, open communication, and a commitment to doing great work. If you love ownership, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and want to help build something exceptional, you'll feel right at home here.
The Opportunity
The Sr Analyst, Law Firm Analytics will partner closely with operational and business leaders to transform complex operational data into strategic insight. This role focuses on analyzing business processes across the case lifecycle, identifying performance trends and operational inefficiencies, and translating data into clear recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
What You Will Own
Technical & Analytical Execution
  • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries and Python/R scripts to support analysis, reporting automation, and operational decision-making
  • Leverage modern analytics tools, data visualization platforms, and automation capabilities to improve scalability and insight generation
  • Apply structured problem-solving and analytical rigor to complex or ambiguous operational challenges
  • Stay informed on emerging analytics and AI capabilities that can enhance business intelligence practices

Analytics and Reporting
  • Build executive-level dashboards that provide clarity to operational leaders and enable data-informed decision-making
  • Serve as analytical partner to Law Firm Operations leadership across the full case lifecycle from intake through pre-litigation, litigation, settlement, and resolution
  • Define, refine, and standardize KPIs for each phase of the operational workflow, ensuring clear accountability and measurable performance standards

Performance Monitoring & Insight Generation
  • Analyze throughput, conversion rates, cycle times, staffing productivity, case economics, and quality metrics across the lifecycle
  • Identify bottlenecks, performance variability, and structural inefficiencies across states, teams, and practice areas
  • Translate operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for Law Firm leadership
  • Support forecasting and capacity modeling tied to case volume growth and expansion initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, or outcomes-not just following existing playbooks

What You Bring
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics, strategy, data operations, or systems analysis (legal, healthcare, professional services, or high-volume operational environments preferred)
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience working on large datasets
  • Proficiency in Python or R to support advanced analytics, data transformation, and scalable reporting solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven, high-growth environment
  • High intellectual curiosity, critical thinking ability, and ownership mindset
  • Strong communication skills-written and verbal
  • Ability to think critically, prioritize effectively, and execute with speed

Preferred (Nice to Have):
  • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving systems
  • Experience in legal, professional services, or client-centric organizations

Who Thrives Here (Core Values)
We don't hire on resumes alone. We hire for competence, character, and mindset.
  • Embrace Change: Open to feedback, embracing change, and always asking "what's next?"
  • Committed: You care deeply, have your teammates' backs, and show up to build something lasting.
  • No-Ego Energy: Positive, professional, and solutions-oriented. Drama stays at the door.
  • Ownership: You do what you say, follow through, and treat the business like it's yours.
  • Fast & Hungry: You move with urgency, thrive under high expectations, and are motivated by growth and impact.

What We Offer
  • Base Salary: $120,000 and $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience (Remote, United States)
  • Eligible for performance-based bonus
  • Our job postings reflect the compensation range for the specific market and location of each role. Ranges vary by geography based on local market rates and cost of labor.
  • Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, HSA, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, and parental leave.

Equal Opportunity Employer
We are an equal opportunity employer. Employment selection and related decisions are made without regard to age, race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identification, or being a qualified disabled veteran or qualified veteran of the Vietnam era or any other category protected by Federal or State law.
The pay range for this role is:
