The Solace Space Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life while serving clients from the comfort of your own home. You will engage frequently with clients via teletherapy platforms, making it essential to maintain a professional and inviting virtual environment. Despite the remote nature, you will collaborate regularly with fellow mental health professionals to ensure integrated care.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and social needs, developing individualized treatment plans based on their unique goals and challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy targeting various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Monitor clients’ progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans accordingly to enhance outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to implement comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of client interactions, treatment progress, and interventions, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in continuous education to remain informed about current research and best practices in mental health treatment.

Your work will largely focus on a broad spectrum of client populations, including those facing mental health disorders, substance use issues, and significant life transitions such as divorce, grief, and relationship challenges. You will engage with individuals of various ages, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice clinical social work in the state of Georgia.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and collaboration with colleagues.
• The ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating sensitivity when handling private client information.

• Experience in providing therapy through telehealth platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
• Previous experience in a community health setting or working with diverse populations would be an asset.
