What are Remote Film Script Readers?

Remote Film Script Readers are professionals who evaluate and provide feedback on screenplays or scripts for production companies, agencies, or independent filmmakers while working from a remote location. Their primary responsibilities include reading scripts, writing coverage (summaries and analysis), and recommending whether a script should move forward in the production process. This role helps producers and executives efficiently sort through large volumes of submissions to identify promising projects. Remote Script Readers need strong analytical skills, a good understanding of storytelling, and familiarity with industry standards. The position offers flexibility and the chance to influence which stories reach the screen.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Film Script Reader, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Film Script Reader, you need a strong background in film studies, storytelling, and critical analysis, often supported by experience in screenwriting, film production, or a related field. Familiarity with screenplay formatting software such as Final Draft and industry-standard coverage templates is typically required. Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver constructive feedback distinguish top candidates in this role. These skills are vital for providing insightful evaluations that help studios and producers identify high-potential scripts in a competitive industry.

Job description

About JamLoop

JamLoop is building the next generation of performance-driven advertising for the streaming TV era.

We help brands and agencies turn CTV into a measurable, accountable growth channel, connecting advertising directly to real business outcomes, both online and offline. Our platform combines proprietary bidding, premium direct inventory, and advanced audience targeting to run high-performance CTV campaigns with precision.

We believe streaming TV advertising should do more than build awareness. It should drive business growth.

JamLoop is a lean, high-expectation team operating in a high-growth environment. The opportunity here is real: to build, shape, and scale alongside a company defining the future of performance advertising.

Role Overview
Locations we are hiring in: Remote - Preferred Candidates in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Boston
Reports to:
Senior Director of Sales Development

JamLoop is hiring a Senior Sales Development Representative who operates with a hunter mindset and a technologistโ€™s efficiency. In this role, you arenโ€™t just making calls; you are the engine of our growth, leveraging a cutting-edge "agentic" AI stack to identify, research, and break into the worldโ€™s most influential media and SaaS accounts.

This role is responsible for owning the top of the funnel efforts and outbound prospecting. In the near term, success comes from meeting your monthly quota and helping drive company wide revenue and new business opportunities. Over time, this role is expected to expand into coaching and management opportunities within our sales development department or individual account executive roles. .

This is a strategic role for someone who is confident building from the ground up, embraces a fast paced environment, and is comfortable with prospecting key stakeholders across mid-market and enterprise accounts.ย

What Youโ€™ll OwnStrategic Outbound (The Priority)
  • Signal-Based Prospecting: Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and MediaRadar to identify high-value accounts experiencing "trigger events" (new funding, leadership changes, or campaign launches).

  • AI-Enabled Outreach: Act as a "Human-in-the-Loop," utilizing agentic AI tools to automate deep research and personalize messaging at scale.

  • Multichannel Execution: Design and run "surround sound" sequences across email, phone, LinkedIn, and video touchpoints.

  • Market Intelligence: Act as a front-line researcher, gathering insights on competitor positioning and buyer objections.

Inbound & Discovery
  • High-Velocity Qualification: Respond to inbound leads within tight SLA windows, ensuring a premium "first touch" experience.

  • Strategic Discovery: Lead structured discovery calls to assess BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline) before routing qualified opportunities.

What You BringMust-haves
  • Proven Track Record: 1โ€“2 years of experience in an SDR or BDR capacity within the Media, SaaS, or AdTech sectors.

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience navigating HubSpot CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and MediaRadar.

  • AI Literacy: You are a "Power User" of AI (e.g., Clay, Perplexity, or ChatGPT) who enjoys experimenting with prompt engineering and sales automation.

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to pivot messaging instantly based on persona and vertical.

  • Self-Motivated: A driven individual who excels at managing their own schedule and priorities

  • Problem Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify opportunities and strategize effective solutions for clients

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to view the big picture and make decisions that contribute to long-term success

Nice-to-haves
  • Experience working in the mid-market and enterprise spaces.

  • Ready to build the future of outbound? We are looking for a strategic partner, not a script-reader. If you have the SDR experience and the drive to build systems that scale, we want to talk.

What Success Looks Like in 6โ€“12 Months
  • In 3 Months: Mastered value proposition, internalised AI-prospecting workflows, and consistently hitting weekly/monthly activity targets.

  • In 6 Months: Expert "Human-in-the-Loop" operator identifying high-intent signals; built a healthy pipeline and deep rapport with AE partners.

  • In 9 Months: Top contributor exceeding quota, contributing to the Outbound Playbook, and being evaluated for AE or SDR Manager roles.

Benefits
  • Fully remote work environment (Work from wherever you are most productive).

  • Flexible vacation policy to support a true work-life balance.

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.

  • 401(k) savings plan.

  • Company meetups and frequent opportunities to connect in person.

  • The Path: A clear 12โ€“18 month promotion roadmap to AE or Team Lead roles.

Compensation
  • Base salary range: $70,000 - $80,000

  • Bonus / commission eligible

  • OTE: $100,000 - $120,000
