Job Title: Junior Post-Production Expert - Lightworks
Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote
In this position, you will utilize your expertise to contribute to the training of next-generation AI systems. Your efforts will influence how models learn, reason, and function by providing high-quality, real-world data. No previous AI experience is necessary - what matters most is your domain knowledge.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze non-linear editing (NLE) workflows and verify AI-driven directives for advanced trimming, console-based editing, and effective bin management within Lightworks.
  2. Examine post-production procedures, concentrating on specialized features such as the Shark console, multi-cam capabilities, and VFX routing in the Lightworks platform.
  3. Review AI suggestions concerning media formats and codec compliance to guarantee smooth delivery for AVID/ProTools interchange and XML/EDL exports.
  4. Validate AI-generated user interface (UI) guidelines, especially related to the fixed and flexible layout options unique to Lightworks.
  5. Detect and resolve complex project-sharing and metadata issues, offering feedback to enhance the AI system's comprehension.
  6. Ensure AI accurately describes workflows involving proxy media, local and linked files, along with sophisticated media management techniques.
  7. Confirm the proper application of node-based effects and LUT adjustments within Lightworks projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven expertise in Lightworks, with a focus on fast, keyboard-centric editing workflows.
  2. Extensive background in video production, editing, and composition within professional or high-volume settings.
  3. In-depth knowledge of link-based versus local media workflows and proxy management in the Lightworks environment.
  4. Strong skills in advanced VFX, color grading, and implementation of node-based effects.
  5. Capability to troubleshoot complex technical problems, including metadata inconsistencies and challenges in collaborative projects.
