Remote Fertility Coaches often work closely with clients through virtual sessions, providing personalized guidance on lifestyle, emotional support, and evidence-based fertility strategies. They regularly liaise with healthcare professionals such as reproductive endocrinologists, nutritionists, and therapists to ensure a coordinated approach tailored to each client's needs. Effective communication and documentation are key, as coaches may bridge gaps between clients and medical teams, offering clarity and continuity during fertility treatments. This collaborative structure not only enhances client outcomes but also fosters professional growth through multidisciplinary learning.

What is a remote fertility coach?

A remote fertility coach is a professional who provides guidance, emotional support, and education to individuals or couples trying to conceive, all through virtual or online platforms. They offer personalized advice on fertility health, lifestyle changes, and coping strategies, and may help clients understand their fertility treatment options. Remote fertility coaches are not medical doctors, but they work alongside clients’ healthcare providers to help them navigate the fertility journey. Their services can include video calls, messaging, and digital resources, making support accessible from anywhere.

Job description

Why You'll Love This Role:
The Assessment Services team at Newsela works with strategic and key accounts supporting customer assessment needs end to end.
The Assessment Services Specialist is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on delivering high-quality assessment services to assigned accounts. You'll work day-to-day with district and school stakeholders and help turn assessment expertise into real customer value.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support implementation & onboarding. Help stand up Newsela's assessment products for assigned accounts, including onboarding, configuration, and go-live support. Be the steady hand customers can count on during launch.
  • Deliver ongoing advisory & support. Partner with customers to deepen their use of Newsela assessments. This may include score interpretation, surfacing additional assessment needs, data coaching, and usage reviews that drive renewal-worthy outcomes.
  • Execute assessment migration & content work. Carry out assessment migration and content services for assigned accounts with attention to scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Own your accounts. Manage your portfolio of customer engagements end-to-end: scope, schedule, communicate, and deliver. Escalate early when something needs help.
  • Document and improve. Capture what works in playbooks, templates, and reusable artifacts so the team gets stronger with every engagement.
  • Partner cross-functionally. Work side-by-side with Customer Service, Sales, Product, and Content. Be a reliable, easy-to-work-with teammate.
  • Be a voice of the customer. Bring patterns and signal from your customer work back to the team. Evidence over anecdotes.

About You:
    • A combination of 5+ years of experience in K-12 EdTech, assessment, and/or customer-facing professional services.
    • An understanding of formative and/or interim assessments including how they're built, how they're used, and how educators actually make decisions from the data.
    • Strong written and verbal communication; equally comfortable writing a clear customer email and walking a district leader through a data conversation.
    • Organized and dependable. You manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball and you're proactive about flagging when something needs attention.
    • Comfort with ambiguity. You're a problem solver who can make progress without a fully defined playbook in front of you.
    • A genuine interest in assessment, how educators use data to improve teaching and learning, how administrators use it to make decisions and how we can deepen our assessment relationship within each account you work with. You don't need to be an expert yet - you do need to want to become one.

    Bonus points for
    • Background as a former educator, instructional coach, or district-level assessment leader.
    • Prior experience working on a services, implementation, or customer success team at an EdTech or assessment company.
    • Exposure to additional types of assessment beyond formative and/or interim assessments and how they're used in schools.
    • Familiarity with standards frameworks, item-writing concepts, or psychometric basics.
    • Experience working in a product-led organization where services and product partner closely.

All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check as part of our pre-employment process.
Why you'll love working at Newsela:
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical benefits with employer contribution to premiums and to HSA accounts. Additional benefits such as gym reimbursement, pet insurance, free access to the Calm app, Rocket Lawyer and more to help you stay healthy: mind, body, and soul.
  • Work From Home: We are a fully remote company. We provide a monthly tech stipend to support your WFH needs!
  • Supporting ALL Families: Inclusive benefits to support you and your family, including parental leave, fertility support, adoption, and more!
  • Financial Wellbeing: Invest in your future with our 401(k) plan, which includes a employer match to help you build long-term financial security.
  • Time Off: Flexible PTO, paid sick time off, company holidays plus winter break (Dec 24th - Jan 1st).
  • Professional Development:Newsela offers an annual learning and development allowance to employees to attend external training sessions, classes, workshops, conferences, and educational materials to foster professional growth within their current role and career aspirations at Newsela.
  • Make A Difference: No matter your role or department, the work you do each day helps share the future of education and improves the lives of students and teachers.
