What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Federal Firefighter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Federal Firefighter, you need comprehensive training in wildland firefighting techniques, physical fitness, and knowledge of fire behavior, often backed by certifications like S-130/190 and meeting National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) standards.
