• Facilitating Support Groups: Lead and facilitate parent support groups, creating therapeutic environments that empower caregivers to share their experiences and challenges.
• Parent Training: Conduct training sessions for parents of children with mental health needs, particularly for those dealing with complex parenting issues or concerns regarding prenatal substance exposure.
• Developmental Evaluations: Perform thorough developmental evaluations of children, utilizing standardized assessment tools to identify areas of need.
• Temperament Counseling: Provide individualized temperament counseling for parents to enhance their interactions and understanding of their child's unique behaviors.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all services provided to ensure proper reporting and adherence to organizational policies.

Your work will primarily focus on children and their families, often addressing issues related to mental health and behavioral challenges, as well as navigating complex family dynamics. You will support particularly vulnerable populations, including those impacted by parental substance use and trauma, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and services.

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Clinical Social Worker License (LCSW).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least one year in a mental health environment.
• Background in parent-child intervention, demonstrating a strong understanding of developmental psychology and child welfare.
• Knowledge of normal child development, parenting strategies, and child abuse/neglect dynamics.
• Proven clinical work experience in social service or healthcare settings, particularly in case management or therapeutic roles.

• Experience working with children who have been prenatally exposed to substances.
• Previous involvement in group therapy or therapeutic workshop facilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and reporting tools.
