Position Overview

Join our dedicated team as a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with Serving Children and Reaching Families, LLC. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, client-specific therapeutic services, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct thorough documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, weekly goal setting, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans in a timely fashion.
  • Establish and implement individualized aftercare plans that outline supportive strategies for clients upon completion of their program.
  • Maintain consistent communication with families and relevant external clinicians and agencies to facilitate continuity of care, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.
  • Adhere to organizational policies regarding documentation and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges, including substance abuse disorders, trauma-related issues, and co-occurring disorders. You will work closely with clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, providing holistic support aimed at fostering resilience and facilitating successful transitions into long-term stability.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in good standing.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with individuals and families in mental health settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in therapeutic relationships.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, essential for effective therapy delivery and documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals with co-occurring disorders and substance abuse issues.
  • Familiarity with modern therapeutic practices, including trauma-informed care and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • History of working in a community health setting and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
