Senior Coordinator, Digital Marketing and FundraisingHillel InternationalRole Overview

Hillel International is seeking a motivated, detail-focused, and passionate Digital Marketing and Fundraising Senior Coordinator to join our dynamic Direct Response Fundraising team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a people-first, high-performing team that cares for each other and inspires one another to excel.

The Direct Response Fundraising team works with a broad audience to support hundreds of thousands of Jewish college students in the U.S. and around the globe by raising critically needed funds through direct response fundraising channels. The Senior Coordinator will support the work of our team to connect with prospective and current donors through a variety of digital channels, including email, web, paid search, and SMS. In addition, the Senior Coordinator will partner with our philanthropic advancement team, supporting planned giving, volunteer leadership, or other types of communications to targeted audiences.This position will report directly to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and Fundraising. 

Top candidates will have a strong background in digital marketing and/or fundraising, excellent copywriting skills (ideally in marketing, communications, or fundraising), expertise in creating graphics for email and other digital platforms, strong ability to manage multiple projects, and experience in creating digital forms. The ideal candidates will have a team-first attitude, with the ability to work independently and take both direction and initiative.

What You'll Do
  • Support the work of our robust communications strategy, including newsletter and solicitation copywriting and building of email newsletters, appeals, and stewardship pieces - within our team and in collaboration with others 
  • Create a variety of donation and lead generation forms, helping to engage potential donors and drive conversion 
  • Design creative and effective multichannel content and marketing materials using tools like Canva, including designing graphics for email, reports, and more
  • Manage and track projects, including various digital campaigns 
  • Contribute to Hillel's growing SMS strategy, reaching donors through text-to-give efforts and stewardship outreach 
  • Coordinate stewardship and follow-up with our rapidly growing community of monthly donors, ensuring we communicate in a timely fashion with current and prospective sustainers
  • Work with vendors to ensure smooth communication and provide or request resources as needed
  • Create content for fundraising campaigns for email, Hillel's website, text-to-give, and other digital platforms
  • Partner with our philanthropic advancement team to implement and execute digital campaigns that promote fundraising events to major donors and other stakeholder audiences
What You've Accomplished
  • 3-5 years of work experience in marketing, fundraising, communications, public relations, or similar field
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • 2+ years of experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or similar programs to create captivating, original design work
What You'll Bring to the Job
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing software such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Pardot, or similar platform
  • Excellent copywriting skills, ideally with experience in marketing or fundraising
  • Strong track record of producing engaging original content for digital media, including email headers, web content, GIFs, and more
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; familiarity using project management software such as Asana, AirTable, Trello, Notion, or others
  • Good critical thinking skills to make data-informed decisions, with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Interest in or connection to Jewish life
  • A sense of curiosity, a drive to succeed, and a willingness to learn and grow
  • These skills are not required, but would be a plus: 
    • PowerPoint/Google Slides presentations
    • General experience with SMS as a channel, specifically peer-to-peer text messaging campaigns 
    • Knowledge in video creation or editing
    • Familiarity with GoFundMe Pro or other form creation platforms such as Jotform, FormAssembly, etc.
    • Agency experience or similar is a plus
What You'll Receive
  • Competitive salary in the non-profit marketplace. The salary range for this role is $55,000- $59,000.
  • Flexible work hours and location. Please note that in order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States. While we fully support remote work, we do require employees to be based in the United States.
