Job description

Global Key Account Director, Consumer Health

Location: East Coast or Midwest (Remote)

Overview

IQVIA is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Director, Key Account Management to lead and accelerate growth across a portfolio of strategic and global Consumer Health clients. This role owns senior-most client relationships, sets multi-year account strategy, and drives enterprise-level partnerships spanning IQVIA's data, analytics, technology, and services portfolio.

As a trusted executive advisor, you will shape long-term client roadmaps, influence C-suite stakeholders, and orchestrate complex, cross-functional teams to deliver sustained value and revenue growth. This is a highly visible leadership role with accountability for account performance, expansion strategy, and global stakeholder alignment across OTC, personal care, nutrition, and broader consumer health sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own executive-level relationships for a portfolio of priority Consumer Health key accounts, including global and multi-regional clients
  • Define and execute multi-year account strategies, aligned to client business objectives and IQVIA's Consumer Health growth priorities
  • Serve as the senior escalation point and relationship sponsor, ensuring long-term partnership health and client satisfaction
  • Lead account governance, account planning, and strategic reviews with client executive teams

Enterprise Growth & Commercial Ownership

  • Drive net-new growth, expansion, and cross-portfolio penetration across IQVIA capabilities (data, analytics, digital, technology, consulting, CSO, and AI-enabled solutions)
  • Own revenue outcomes for assigned accounts, including pipeline strategy, revenue forecasting, deal quality, and margin considerations
  • Identify and incubate transformational opportunities, including large-scale engagements, global frameworks, and strategic partnerships

Executive Advisory & Solution Strategy

  • Act as a strategic advisor to client leadership on topics such as commercialization strategy, omnichannel transformation, data-driven decision making, and business performance optimization
  • Partner with internal solution leaders and subject-matter experts to shape differentiated, insights-led value propositions
  • Lead complex deal strategy, pricing approaches, solution shaping, and commercial negotiations

Cross-Functional & Global Orchestration

  • Lead and coordinate matrixed global account teams, including sales, delivery, consulting, product, analytics, and marketing stakeholders
  • Ensure strong governance across opportunity development, solution delivery, and client steering structures
  • Partner closely with regional and global leadership to align account strategies across markets and capabilities

Market Leadership & Thought Leadership

  • Maintain deep knowledge of Consumer Health market trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory considerations, and evolving client needs
  • Represent IQVIA at senior client forums, industry events, and executive roundtables
  • Contribute to broader Consumer Health go-to-market strategy, key account frameworks, and best practices

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in key account management, strategic sales, consulting, or commercial leadership within the life sciences industry with preferred experience in:
    • Consumer Health / OTC / CPG / FMCG
  • Proven success leading large, complex, multi-stakeholder client relationships with enterprise-level revenue accountability
  • Demonstrated experience selling integrated solutions across data, analytics, SaaS, technology, and/or consulting portfolios
  • Track record of engaging and influencing C-suite, EVP, and senior commercial leadership
  • Experience operating effectively in global or highly matrixed organizations

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with IQVIA offerings, including:
    • IQVIA data assets
    • Commercial analytics and advanced insights
    • Omnichannel, CRM, and digital engagement solutions
    • AI/ML-enabled commercial decision tools
  • Experience supporting global or regional Consumer Health brands

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $111,200.00 - $309,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
