Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll manage inbound customer inquiries related to employee benefit plans, claims, and general coverage. This remote, seasonal position supports both Voluntary Benefits (VB) and core benefits teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls from clients, members, providers, and employer groups.
  • Assist with benefit plan details, claim statuses, coverage questions, and pre-certification information.
  • Follow established scripts for Voluntary Benefits (VB) calls.
  • Document interactions in systems like Flex, Alegis, Luminis, and internal ticketing tools.
  • Meet KPIs including average handle time and call quality.

Qualifications
  • No minimum years of experience required.
  • Strong soft skills - Ability to stay calm and courteous in challenging calls.
  • Previous customer service or call center experience is a plus.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems and retain technical details.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with diverse customers and team members.
