This is a fully remote position that allows you the flexibility to work from any location with internet access. Our telehealth setting enables therapists to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those in urban, suburban, or rural areas where they are licensed to practice. You will utilize a secure and user-friendly teletherapy platform designed to streamline communication and facilitate effective counseling sessions.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions via video chat while providing ethical and compassionate mental health counseling.
• Utilize evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities to guide therapy sessions effectively.
• Create tailored treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring personalized care.
• Help clients gain insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, encouraging them to explore their experiences in a safe environment.
• Regularly monitor and assess progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting strategies as necessary to support client growth.
• Facilitate the development of healthy coping mechanisms and life skills that enable clients to manage their mental health.

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your work will contribute significantly to fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness in communities in Chino, California, and beyond, as you will be connecting with clients across various geographic locations.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is essential.
• Current and active licensure as a mental health therapist, with qualifications including LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW required.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing therapy, ideally in a remote or teletherapy capacity.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients in a virtual setting.
• A commitment to cultural competence, inclusivity, and sensitivity in providing care to clients from varied backgrounds.

• Previous experience with teletherapy platforms and familiarity with virtual health practices are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic techniques for online sessions effectively, enhancing engagement and rapport.
