Job description

Job Summary:

They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure solutions, with a focus on automation and network security.
Responsibilities:
• Designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure solutions utilizing Cisco, F5, Palo Alto Firewalls, Infoblox, Zscaler ZPA, Azure Cloud, ISE and SDWAN.
• Collaborating with other IT teams to gather requirements and design network solutions that align with business objectives.
• Leading the implementation and configuration of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, F5 AWAF, and Infoblox DDI
• Developing and maintaining network automation scripts using Ansible and Python to streamline network operations, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
• Integrating network automation solutions with existing tools and systems to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Performing network capacity planning and conducting periodic assessments to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues, providing timely resolution to minimize network downtime.
• Conducting network security audits and implementing necessary measures to protect the network infrastructure.
• Creating and maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Participating in change management processes, including evaluating and implementing network changes in accordance with best practices.
• Collaborating with vendors and third-party providers to ensure effective delivery and support of network services.
• Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior network engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Cisco, F5, Palo Alto Firewalls, Infoblox, Zscaler ZPA, Azure Cloud, ISE and SDWAN.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly desired.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN, MPLS, SDWAN and VPN.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing network solutions using Cisco routing and switching technologies (e.g., Cisco Catalyst, Cisco ACI, Nexus).
• Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers, including LTM and GTM modules, AWAF and proficiency in designing and configuring high-availability load balancing solutions.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing Palo Alto Firewalls, including configuration, policy management, and threat prevention.
• Familiarity with Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM solutions and experience in integrating them with network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) and experience in deploying and managing ACI fabric, policies, and integrations.
• Strong scripting skills in Ansible and Python for network automation and orchestration.
• Solid understanding of network security principles, including access control, authentication, VPN technologies, and firewall rules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
