MedSphere Counseling Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team in Chandler, Arizona. This full-time position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while ensuring the highest standards of patient care are maintained. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments focusing on trauma histories, which will inform individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with patients to develop tailored care strategies that focus on rebuilding resilience and addressing trauma-related symptoms.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to assist patients in processing their experiences.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions designed to promote self-discovery and coping strategies.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and healthcare colleagues to ensure comprehensive patient care and crisis intervention as needed.
• Lead educational sessions for patients and their families to enhance understanding of trauma responses and available coping resources.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to continuously enhance treatment practices.
• Stay updated with the latest research and innovations in trauma therapy, applying new insights to your work.

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, navigating complex emotional landscapes and helping them develop coping mechanisms. Our community clinic serves a diverse client population, including adults and children, who are seeking support to overcome challenges related to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and a commitment to trauma-informed care principles.
• Excellent communication skills, coupled with an empathetic approach to patient care.
• Adept at maintaining composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with standard clinical software tools.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, especially in trauma-focused therapy is preferred.
• Experience in conducting therapy sessions via telehealth platforms would be an advantage.
• Background in collaborative care models is beneficial, as you'll be actively participating in a multidisciplinary team.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
