Adorn Life Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our expanding team. This full-time remote role allows for flexible work arrangements while delivering crucial mental health support to individuals navigating the complexities of trauma. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the individual histories and needs of patients, utilizing diagnostic tools and clinical interviews.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that encompass evidence-based therapeutic interventions specifically designed to address trauma and promote resilience.
• Provide therapeutic services, including individual and group therapy sessions, that utilize techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Deliver crisis intervention services, ensuring immediate support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies while employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records compliant with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies aimed at enhancing client care.
• Educate patients and their support systems about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources within our network and the broader community.
• Stay current with research developments and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously refine therapeutic approaches.

You will work with a diverse client base, primarily focusing on individuals affected by trauma-related disorders. Many of our patients have faced significant challenges, including but not limited to adverse childhood experiences, relational trauma, and acute stress responses. Your role will involve providing compassionate care tailored to each patient’s unique background and therapeutic needs, facilitating their journey to recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid state licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, demonstrating your qualifications to practice in the mental health field.
• Strong proficiency in trauma-informed approaches, with in-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment strategies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a compassionate and respectful approach towards patients and their families.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and other relevant technology necessary for documentation and client interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering evidenced-based treatments specific to trauma recovery.
• Experience working within a remote or hybrid care model that requires digital competence and effective virtual communication skills.
