Helping Hands Counseling Services is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to provide vital therapeutic support for individuals grappling with trauma-related challenges. This remote position is situated in Gilbert, Arizona, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging meaningfully with patients.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work from home while engaging in outpatient therapy sessions. Our organization embraces a collaborative work culture that encourages open communication and professional development. While the primary schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility is expected to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed histories of patients' experiences and trauma to construct appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that emphasize resilience-building and trauma recovery, utilizing best practices in mental health therapy.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.
• Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions and lead group therapy discussions designed to help participants identify coping strategies and foster community.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure a holistic and integrative approach to patient care.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain composed under pressure.
• Educate patients and families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with necessary resources.
• Ensure all documentation is meticulously maintained to comply with ethical standards and legal regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, as well as engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with trauma therapy trends.
• Stay informed on new research developments and best practices within trauma-informed care to continually enhance service delivery.

The therapist will primarily focus on serving individuals who have endured various forms of trauma, including but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding patients through their recovery processes while fostering resilience and coping skills.

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• A valid, current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-focused therapy.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders as well as familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate compassionately with clients, demonstrating a non-judgmental approach.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and coordination of care.
• A capacity for effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary context to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Prior experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions that directly impact recovery outcomes.
• Knowledge or experience in integrating mindfulness and resilience-building practices into therapeutic sessions.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our competitive benefits package includes:
