Helping Hands Counseling Services is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to provide vital therapeutic support for individuals grappling with trauma-related challenges. This remote position is situated in Gilbert, Arizona, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging meaningfully with patients.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work from home while engaging in outpatient therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather detailed histories of patients' experiences and trauma to construct appropriate treatment plans.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that emphasize resilience-building and trauma recovery, utilizing best practices in mental health therapy.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.
  • Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions and lead group therapy discussions designed to help participants identify coping strategies and foster community.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure a holistic and integrative approach to patient care.
  • Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Educate patients and families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with necessary resources.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
  • A valid, current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.
