Sunny Square Family Guidance Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our remote team. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: You will lead engaging group sessions to provide clients with a supportive space for sharing experiences, challenges, and strategies for overcoming common mental health issues.
• Delivering Individual Therapy: You will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, offering personalized support that helps clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns, guiding them to develop practical coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaboratively create individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, focusing on specific goals that address their unique needs and aspirations.
• Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track clients' progress, collecting feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies and adjust plans as necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will communicate regularly to ensure coordinated care, providing consultation on complex cases to achieve optimal outcomes.

Our primary focus is on young adults aged 18 to 30 facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will implement evidence-based practices tailored to their developmental stage while fostering an inclusive and empathetic environment that acknowledges and respects diverse backgrounds.

To be considered for the Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• Possess a current LCPC license to practice in Illinois.
• Demonstrate a strong foundation in mental health treatment modalities.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with young adults, particularly in an outpatient setting. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and evidence-based treatment approaches will be beneficial. Experience in conducting group therapy and a background in crisis intervention are also preferred.
