• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health concerns to understand their unique needs and formulate clinical diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based modalities, tailored to the specific goals and requirements of each client.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions through individual sessions, group workshops, and family therapy, ensuring a diverse range of support options.
• Address crisis situations by delivering timely intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards while documenting treatment plans and progress notes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate comprehensive and holistic care.
• Serve as an educator to clients and their families on mental health issues, effective treatment options, and local community resources available for additional support.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Ridgeview Behavioral Health Center, you will work closely with a wide range of clients including adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. The clinic serves individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your role will be instrumental in not only delivering therapeutic services but also in empowering clients to overcome challenges and thrive.

• A current and valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related fields.
• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in mental health therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• Ability to function independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.

• Prior experience in clinical settings, particularly within community health environments.
• Experience with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care approaches.

Ridgeview Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
