The responsibilities of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker include:

• Providing individual and couples therapy, employing effective therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's specific needs.
• Maintaining comprehensive and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with clinical and legal standards.
• Collaboration with our billing service to manage claims, insurance queries, and client payment arrangements efficiently.
• Scheduling and coordinating ongoing appointments to ensure continued care, while managing an accurate and up-to-date calendar.
• Demonstrating adaptability in addressing a wide range of clinical presentations, from mental health disorders to psychosocial stressors related to terminal illness.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Southeast Behavioral Health PC, you will work primarily with patients in hospice care as well as their families. These clients face unique emotional and psychological challenges during a vulnerable phase of life, necessitating a compassionate and skilled approach. Your role will be crucial in providing not only therapeutic support but also developing care plans that align with patients’ holistic needs and preferences.

To succeed in this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• Exceptional professionalism and the ability to maintain therapeutic boundaries.
• Strong cultural competency, self-motivation, and well-developed organizational skills.
• A minimum commitment of 20-25 hours per week, with availability for evening sessions at least twice a week.

Experience working with couples, particularly in the context of end-of-life care, is highly valued. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and a willingness to engage in ongoing professional training will also enhance your prospects for success in our team.

We offer a competitive compensation package ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
