This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to connect with patients via our telehealth platform. Our work setting enables the delivery of high-quality care from the comfort and safety of home, alongside a well-structured support system for professionals. Your schedule will typically align with normal business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to better accommodate patient needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the needs of your patients, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and respect individual patient needs, developmental stages, and family dynamics.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other evidence-based methodologies tailored to children and adolescents facing diverse mental health issues.
• Deliver family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers to support their children effectively while fostering a nurturing home environment.
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care that aligns with treatment objectives.
• Engage in crisis intervention efforts to provide immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of your patients.
• Educate families about mental health conditions, available resources, and treatment options, fostering a collaborative approach to mental health care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights and remaining abreast of the latest developments in child and adolescent psychiatry.
• Commit to professional development by seeking ongoing educational opportunities and remaining engaged with current research in the field.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Each day, you will work to improve patient outcomes through tailored therapy that engages both the individual and their family. Your compassionate approach will help build rapport with young clients, creating a safe space for them to express their thoughts and concerns.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, combined with familiarity in delivering evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy, particularly within child and adolescent populations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect empathetically with children and their families.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) technologies and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly focused on children and adolescents.
• Experience in a telehealth environment is highly desired, as well as familiarity with remote therapy practices.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 110,000, dependent on experience and qualifications, plus a sign-on bonus.
