ETF Product Strategist

The ETF Product Strategist will act as one of BBH's ETF product subject matter experts, while developing effective and strategic relationships with our ETF clients, prospects and ETF ecosystem partners.

Some of your key responsibilities include:

  • Generate and deliver key ETF market, strategy and regulatory insights to the client, demonstrating BBH's value as an ETF service provider. Develop industry leading thought leadership.
  • Lead the ideation, prioritization and business cases for strategic development of ETF technology and services
  • Support the planning and coordination of ETF fund events across internal stakeholders
  • Provide ETF SME and act as lead for ETF product strategy for all ETF client onboarding initiatives
  • Coordinate ETF specific model-office testing for new clients
  • Represent ETF product strategy on technology and development initiatives with systems and change management
  • Represent BBH ETF Services externally (e.g. client presentations, due diligence, sales efforts, conferences, etc.)
  • Stay abreast of all ETF market initiatives, growth and changes (e.g. regulatory, new products, flows, competitive intelligence, etc.) to ensure BBH remains well positioned
  • Build and manage relationship with ETF ecosystem partners like exchanges, Authorized Participants (APs), market makers, distributors, etc.
  • Collaborate with our risk, compliance and legal functions to ensure regulatory and Firm requirements are fulfilled
  • Partner with ETF client service on functional service enhancements and expanded offerings
  • Support Sales leadership through analysis to help evolve metrics and drive/refine sales strategy
  • Assist with the construction of pricing models for new business opportunities
  • Enable lead generation, provide market analysis to identify and inform prospecting efforts.

Qualifications:

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)

  • BS/BA required, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of the ETF market and asset managers more broadly
  • Understands and can describe the full spectrum of BBH ETF services including custody / fund accounting / transfer agency
  • Excellent client-facing skills and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment and other external market forces impacting the asset management and financial institution industries
  • Consultative, strategic relationship management & sales experience, approach and methodology

Knowledge and skills

  • Global asset servicing product knowledge; ETF product knowledge a plus
  • Communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills and excellent writing ability
  • Professional business acumen; Ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels, both internally and externally to BBH
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to see navigate complex workflows
  • Promote desired culture and associated best practices
  • Ability to successfully operate within a team and learn in a remote environment

Salary Range

$110,000 - $160,000 + annual target bonus

BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
