A remote ergonomist is a professional who assesses and optimizes work environments, specifically for individuals who work remotely or from home. They focus on improving comfort, efficiency, and safety by recommending adjustments to workstations, posture, and equipment. Remote ergonomists often conduct virtual assessments via video calls, provide personalized recommendations, and help prevent injuries related to poor ergonomics, such as back pain or repetitive strain. Their goal is to ensure employees remain healthy, comfortable, and productive, even when working outside a traditional office.

How does a remote ergonomist typically collaborate with clients and teams to assess and improve workplace setups?

As a Remote Ergonomist, collaboration often involves virtual consultations with clients to assess their work environments via video calls, photos, or digital surveys. You’ll work closely with HR teams, occupational health professionals, and employees to recommend adjustments and provide tailored solutions for posture, equipment, and workflow.
