This remote position allows for a flexible work environment, enabling you to provide therapy from the comfort of your home while maintaining a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. • Conduct thorough assessments for students to identify their mental health needs and develop individualized care plans tailored to their circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate mental health improvements in clients.
• Maintain detailed documentation of clinical interactions, treatment progress, and evaluation outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with school personnel, including teachers, counselors, and administrators, to create a supportive care team that addresses the holistic needs of each student.
• Provide resources and coping strategies to clients and their families, empowering them to manage mental health challenges effectively.
• Stay abreast of new developments in social work practices and integrate best practices into daily therapeutic sessions.

The LCSW will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma. This role is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space for youth to express their feelings and challenges, promoting resilience and emotional well-being in the school setting.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and an active LCSW license in the state of California are mandatory.
• Strong understanding of developmental psychology and therapeutic techniques relevant to children and adolescents.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with educational staff and families.

• A minimum of two years of social work experience in a clinical or educational setting is preferred, although exceptional new graduates may be considered.
• Experience utilizing telehealth technology to provide remote therapy services.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume clinical environment, managing multiple cases while maintaining the quality of care.
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently while seeking collaboration when necessary.
