Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' psychological and emotional needs.
  • Design and implement individualized care plans, using evidence-based methodologies tailored to support recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to provide holistic care.

  • Stay updated with the latest therapeutic techniques and integrate them into practice for improved client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification from substances. Understanding the complexities of addiction and mental health is crucial in this setting. You will encounter diverse client backgrounds and co-occurring disorders, requiring a culturally sensitive approach to care.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
  • An active LCSW license issued by the state of California is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and effective communication skills to foster relationships with clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
  • Resourcefulness in addressing client needs and an independent approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in a social work role focusing on mental health and substance use disorder, preferably in a clinical or detox setting.
  • Knowledge of community resources relevant to addiction treatment and mental health support.
  • Experience with documentation software and care management systems.
Compensation and Benefits
