This position will be predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our services reach students within their school settings. Our LCSW will use virtual communication and telehealth tools to interact with students, faculty, and families, making efficient use of technology to provide quality mental health support. • Serve as a clinical resource by conducting assessments and initiating therapy with students facing mental health issues, developing tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques focused on improving emotional and behavioral outcomes.
• Coordinate care by collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure a supportive network around each student, fostering an integrated approach to wellbeing.
• Maintain a manageable caseload by regularly monitoring client progress, adjusting interventions as needed, and ensuring timely completion of documentation and reports.
• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, employing de-escalation techniques and creating safety plans for at-risk students.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement of service delivery.

The LCSW will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents who exhibit a range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma responses. This role requires sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by students in under-resourced communities, ensuring that care is culturally competent and inclusive. By fostering strong relationships with students, families, and educational professionals, you will help create a safe and supportive learning environment.

• A valid and active LCSW license in the state of Tennessee.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, with a strong preference for candidates holding a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents, demonstrating proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

• Experience working in school-based mental health programs or with young populations facing educational barriers.

The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
