Provides application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting. May also support integrated third-party applications. Serves as a liaison between TSG groups, clients, and vendors.
An onsite schedule is preferred. However, candidates residing in the following states may be considered for a remote and/or hybrid schedule: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia

The Application Analyst III, Epic

  • Conducts intermediate to advanced analysis of Epic application design and system workflows.

  • Independently manages assigned projects and work efforts, ensuring timely delivery.

  • Leads requirements gathering and facilitates design sessions with stakeholders.

  • Analyzes and translates business needs into system solutions with minimal supervision.

  • Develops and maintains documentation and knowledge resources for supported Epic and non-Epic (integrated third-party) applications.

  • Develops working knowledge of assigned Epic module(s), including related development and maintenance tools, and applies in-depth knowledge within specific module areas.

  • Uses understanding of how assigned Epic modules integrate with other Epic systems across the organization.

  • Assists with implementation of new Epic modules and system enhancements.

  • Serves as a resource for Epic application and system support and provides guidance to team members.

  • Assumes a mentoring role, supporting analysts and contributing to team knowledge sharing.

  • Serves as a liaison across multiple Epic modules, teams, and stakeholders.

  • Interacts with internal and external customers and stakeholders in a professional manner.

  • Applies independent judgment and decision-making within established guidelines and escalates issues as appropriate.

  • Identifies opportunities for system improvements and supports optimization efforts.

  • Adheres to application change management processes, including communication, documentation, and post-change support.

  • Tracks work effort and communicates project and task status effectively.

  • Participates in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holiday.

What We Require:

Education: Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business or 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.


Experience: Minimum of 4 years of related experience.


Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Obtains and maintains a minimum of 3 vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management following a primary Epic support application proficiency path. Must maintain a certification/proficiency in applicable Epic module(s).


Other Minimum Qualifications: Must be a self-initiated team player able to work under little supervision, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting. Must facilitate a positive and collaborative work environment. Must be flexible and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation). Must demonstrate dependability, accountability, adherence to documentation and departmental processes, appropriate escalation, awareness of clinical and compliance impacts, adaptability, continuous learning, and respect for confidential information. Must be able to work in a matrixed environment and understand bimodal work principles. Primary work schedule is Monday-Friday during standard business hours; role requires flexibility beyond standard hours, including participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and occasional travel.

Compensation Range:

$89,232.00 - $142,771.20
