Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.0 | Full Time | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM - Pacific Standard Time
Salary Range: $76,523.20 - $105,227.20 annually
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT offer remote work in Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Hawaii. This is a remote position. Candidates will be required to have reliable broadband internet and personal cell phone service. Remote work may include working day-to-day operations during Pacific Standard business hours or online training. This position will be expected to take 24/7 on-call support for a week at a time in rotation with the other members of the team. On-call rotation will begin when the staff member and Team Lead feel the level of skill has been achieved to triage and support end user critical needs.
Position Summary
The Epic Analyst designs, analyzes, develops, tests, implements, and/or provides tier two technical assistance of assigned system applications. In this role, the Epic Analyst consults with Epic representatives, application coordinators, supervisors and end users to configure and build Epic software and applications to meet organizational and client needs; troubleshoots problems, offers solutions and recommends a course of action to address the issues and needs of the end user and to achieve client and/or hospital specifications for Epic applications; and develops and modifies procedures to solve complex data processing problems and/or prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Please Note: A certifications in at least one inpatient or ambulatory application, as well as proficiency in Epic's reporting tools (RWB and Slicer Dicer) is strongly desired for this position. To be considered for this position, qualified applicants will need to take and pass a proprietary assessment developed by Epic Systems Corporation if not already Epic Certified in a clinical build application.
Position Qualifications
Education
  • Associate degree or equivalent required for the Epic Analyst level is required.

Experience
  • At least 2 years of direct Epic application build experience, with a proven ability to analyze processes, solve problems, and contribute to the improvement of systems and solutions in a professional setting is required for Analyst level.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

Certifications
  • The Epic Analyst will be required to obtain Epic Proficiency, Accreditation, or Certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Will be required to complete annual Epic recertification requirements (all levels).

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in a variety of decision-making scenarios.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no day-to-day supervision.
  • Ability to conceptualize the visual effect of the product and how it will be used.
  • Comfortable presenting in front of a group.
