Job description

Promac Consulting is seeking a Project Controls Engineer / Construction Scheduler to support our growing organization.

This position is primarily remote, with occasional travel. The ideal candidate is self-driven, technically strong in CPM scheduling, and comfortable supporting field and project management teams in a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update CPM construction schedules using Primavera P6

  • Prepare baseline schedules, periodic updates, and recovery schedules

  • Perform critical path, float, and logic analysis

  • Prepare schedule narratives and executive progress reports

  • Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors

  • Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies

  • Support change management and Time Impact Analyses (TIAs)

  • Ensure schedule compliance with contract requirements and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls

  • Strong proficiency in Primavera P6

  • Experience supporting energy, power, industrial, or heavy civil projects

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
