Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice in Utility Engineering and Construction, is hiring an Environmental Specialist for our Chantilly, VA based Professional Services Group. You will perform job duties related to environmental compliance, including (but not limited to) creating storm water management and erosion and sediment control drawings in AutoCAD, inspecting active construction sites for compliance with permit requirements, and working with other designers and environmental specialists to complete projects correctly.
Requirements
  • Currently maintains or willing to obtain certifications from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality
    • Plan reviewer for Erosion & Sediment Control and Stormwater Management
    • Program Administrator
    • Inspector
  • Background in AutoCAD is a plus (training will be provided)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills

Candidates with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Science are encouraged to apply.
Starting pay $27 - $29 / hour depending upon experience.
