DuPont's Corporate Remediation Group (CRG) is hiring a Environmental Remediation Specialist.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for managing legacy remediation projects across a portfolio of sites as well as providing technical subject matter expertise related to environmental remediation practice to the larger Corporate Remediation Group.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safe execution of projects in accordance with the CRG vision and mission.
  • Lead multi-functional remediation project teams consisting of internal and external resources.
  • Develop and communicate the overall project strategy, goals, and objectives in accordance with CRG and DuPont policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders such as community groups and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of appropriate site investigation, remediation, and monitoring programs by consultant partners at sites within your portfolio.
  • Promptly prepare and submit forecasted spend, project estimates, project authorization requests, and environmental reserve adjustments.
  • Provide environmental remediation subject matter expertise for business-funded remediation projects.
  • Support the corporate Merger, Acquisition, and Divesture process through providing environmental remediation subject matter expertise as part of Due Diligence project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a technical or scientific field related to environmental practice.
  • Ten years' experience in the environmental investigation and remediation field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more scientific or technical subject area related to environmental practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects; specifically collaborating with large teams and multiple partners.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken is required.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is preferred.
