Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety — Remote / Field

Symbiotic Services is seeking a Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to lead safety and environmental programs across multiple U.S. manufacturing locations.

Location: Remote — U.S.; Central or Eastern Time Zone preferred
Travel: Approximately 50–70% to U.S. manufacturing facilities
Compensation: $150,160–$168,930 base, depending on experience
Position Summary

The EHS Manager will lead environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple manufacturing sites while supporting environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. This role will establish consistent EHS programs, strengthen safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive measurable improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel regularly to manufacturing sites to support EHS initiatives.
  • Partner with corporate sustainability leadership on environmental reporting and compliance.
  • Develop and implement company-wide EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, environmental, and other applicable regulations.
  • Lead safety training across organizational levels.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and drive corrective actions.
  • Establish safety goals, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation related to incidents, audits, inspections, and compliance.
  • Present safety performance metrics and recommendations to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing safety leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and environmental regulations.
  • Environmental compliance experience with a strong safety focus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with safety management software and reporting tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
  • CSP or CIH certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50–70%.
