This position supports OCUDM Business delivery through Databricks, Airflow and Snowflake
Positions in this function research and investigate key business problems through quantitative analyses of utilization and healthcare costs data. Provides management with statistical findings and conclusions. Identifies potential areas for medical cost improvements and alternative pricing strategies. Provides data in support of actuarial, financial and utilization analyses.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Looking for an accomplished Data Analyst to consolidate technical, analytical and reporting skills to cater to the fast-changing needs of the business across the globe and contribute positively towards organization's corporate vision, mission & goal and hone technical knowledge, experience on continuous basis to take up challenging roles and responsibilities. The data analyst will support the team through development and presentation of reporting and analytics using a variety of data sources and serve as analytics consultant for different level projects
  • Interaction with key stakeholders and serve as analytic contact/resource for external business partners to support ongoing data exchange, analysis, reporting, and interpretation of performance results
  • Support complex analytic projects leveraging data from multiple sources
  • Solid analytical expertise: data analysis, data manipulation, data extraction required
  • Work with HealthCare Economics Team on continued expansion of data infrastructure needs, updates, and developments
  • All data research activities for HealthCare Economics Team
  • Will provide end-to-end support for ETL related activities
  • Will help team formulate strategy to move to cloud technologies

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree or equivalent (B.Tech./MCA preferred) with 4+ years of work experience
  • Expert in designing and developing ETL Architecture using tools such as Azure Databricks/Apache Spark with development expertise on batch and real time data integration
  • Experience in programming using Python, PySpark, SQL in Azure Databricks
  • Experience with Orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory), Azure DevOps and GitHub

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in writing the Stored Procedures and query performance optimization
  • Experience in Cloud data warehouse like Snowflake analytical warehouse
  • Experience of Cloud Databases specifically Snowflake (1+ years)
  • Experience in relational data processing technology like MS SQL, Data Lake, Spark SQL
  • Familiarity with Azure services like Azure functions, Azure Data Lake Store
  • Own end-to-end development, including coding, testing, debugging, and deployment
  • Provide solutions that are forward thinking in data and analytics
  • Experience in Preparing and planning the Test Plans
  • Solid Experience in Technical troubleshooting using various tools.
  • Experience in Data deep-dive projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience understanding Requirement mapping document and designing jobs.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
