• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the social, emotional, and psychological needs of students and families, ensuring tailored interventions.
• Deliver individual and group counseling employing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, facilitating personal growth and coping strategies.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans that align with clients’ aspirations and developmental milestones.
• Act as an advocate for client rights, ensuring access to necessary resources and addressing any barriers that arise.
• Contribute actively to program development, monitoring effectiveness, and completing grant reporting as required.
• Formulate strategic collaborations with educational institutions, community organizations, and government agencies to strengthen community resources.
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and community outreach initiatives to promote awareness of mental health resources available to students and their families.

This position primarily focuses on students facing a variety of challenges, including social-emotional issues, learning disabilities, trauma, and family stressors. By addressing these concerns, we aim to create healthier school environments that bolster the academic and social development of all students. The LICSW will work closely with families to provide them with the tools necessary to support their children effectively.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for empathetic engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and effective advocacy strategies.

• Previous experience in a nonprofit and educational setting, particularly with school-aged populations, is preferred.
