Psychological Dimensions is a nationally recognized provider of public safety psychological services, specializing in pre-employment evaluations, fitness for duty assessments, leadership consulting, and risk-management support for both government agencies and media/entertainment organizations. We are a fast-growing, mission-driven company dedicated to supporting the wellness, stability, and effectiveness of the agencies and teams we serve.


We are expanding our business development function and seeking aSales Development Representative (SDR)to help us connect with new clients, open conversations, and support sales operations across our multiple service lines. This is an excellent role for someone who is organized, motivated, relationship-oriented, and eager to grow with an innovative and purpose-driven company.


Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying prospects, initiating contact, nurturing relationships, and supporting the pipeline for the Director of Client Relations and executive leadership. This role combines strategic research, outbound outreach, follow-up communication, CRM management, and early-stage sales engagement. The SDR will play a key role in expanding our footprint within police, fire, EMS, government agencies, and entertainment/media partners.


Psychological Dimensions is a highly collaborative environment, and this position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, excellent organization, and comfort interacting with public safety leaders, municipal administrators, and corporate executives.


Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Identify and research potential clients within public safety, local government, corporate security, and human resources.
  • Conduct outbound email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach to introduce PD services and qualify prospects.
  • Schedule introductory meetings, demos, and follow-up calls for the Director of Client Relations and executive leaders.
  • Maintain consistent outreach cadence and pipeline activity.

Pipeline Management

  • Track prospects, interactions, and progress using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
  • Monitor and update sales dashboards, follow-up sequences, and prospect lists.
  • Ensure all lead data is accurate, organized, and up-to-date.

Relationship Building

  • Serve as a professional and knowledgeable first point of contact for agencies and organizations reaching out to PD.
  • Understand prospective client needs and effectively communicate how PDs services can support their goals.
  • Provide timely responses and follow-up to inquiries, RFP notices, and referral leads.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Director of Client Relations, executive leadership, and marketing team to refine messaging, target lists, and outreach strategies.
  • Contribute insights on market trends, prospect feedback, and agency needs.
  • Support proposal development, outreach campaigns, email sequences, and conference preparation as needed.

Qualifications

  • Prior sales or business development experience preferred (SDR experience a plus).
  • High comfort level with outbound calling,email sequencing, and networking.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple leads and follow-ups.
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) HubSpot preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professionalism and maturity when communicating with public safety officials, government leaders, and corporate executives.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
  • Interest in public safety, psychology, or consulting services is beneficial.
