Summary:

  • Our team directly support analytics activation for the bank. Applications we support continue to significantly contribute to bank's top line. We use cloud native application practices and modern data approaches to deliver performant software used by all channels.
  • We are looking for a strong back-end developer with cloud engineering background or certifications and a keen interest to learn new technologies/AI to join our team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 7+ years of development experience using Java, building API enabled apps and event driven architecture.
  • Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures, knowledge of using databases including Oracle, Snowflake.
  • 2+ years of production support, infrastructure engineering or administration experience.
  • Experience with or good working knowledge of DevSecOps; Kubernetes or other container-based technologies including deployment pipelines.
  • Learning mindset with openness to learn new technologies, build things and experiment.
  • Certifications like cloud architect/engineer/developer are strongly preferred.
  • Experience working on product teams, awareness of agile practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
  • Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
  • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
  • Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
  • May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
  • May serve as project leader for specific projects.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups.
  • Certifications like cloud architect/engineer/developer are strongly preferred.

Compensation Range:

70,000.00 - 140,000.00 USD Annual

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
