• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, to tailor treatment to each client's unique circumstances.
• Engage with clients in developing individualized treatment plans that respect cultural considerations and personal goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) within individual, couple, family, and group therapy settings.
• Provide crisis intervention services while working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive appropriate care during acute situations.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, ensuring adherence to clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions to empower clients and their families with knowledge about managing mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive treatment for our clients.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and adjust treatment strategies based on efficacy to optimize client progress.
• Stay current with research and best practices in the mental health field, applying this knowledge to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Uphold ethical practice standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for all client information at all times.

Our clients come from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, and many have faced significant trauma or mental health challenges. The therapist in this role will be expected to deliver culturally sensitive care and adapt therapeutic approaches to suit the individual needs of each client, fostering an environment of trust and understanding.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active, valid licensure as an LCMFT, LCPC, LCP, LCSW, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to effectively engage with clients from varied cultural backgrounds.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred.
• Experience with trauma-informed care methodologies and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, depending on the candidate's experience, education, and skill level. The compensation package includes:
