You will play a crucial role in assessing clientsโ€™ mental health conditions and developing tailored therapy plans to support their progress and recovery.

Work Environment

This position operates within a remote outpatient framework, empowering you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities

  • Offer referrals to psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals as necessary, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Document patient progress and therapeutic interventions accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and participate in team meetings to enhance treatment methodologies and improve patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse population of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and various other mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling.

  • Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
