Our work setting is primarily remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to conduct sessions using telemedicine platforms. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for couples together, as well as individual sessions, to address a wide spectrum of challenges including, but not limited to:
• Substance abuse issues and their impacts on family dynamics.
• Resolution of conflicts among family members, including sibling rivalry and parent-child conflicts.
• Support for grief and loss, particularly during significant life transitions like divorce or the death of a loved one.
• Guidance for blended families and those adjusting to remarriage scenarios.
• Addressing job-related stress and its effects on family relationships.
• And much more, tailoring your approaches to the unique needs of each family.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment progress notes, and other documentation as required by regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development to uphold best practices in therapy and maintain licensure.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to mental health and wellness.

Your role will involve working with diverse client populations across various demographics, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will play a crucial part in providing culturally competent care that is sensitive to the unique backgrounds and experiences of your patients, allowing you to build meaningful therapeutic relationships that foster healing and growth.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A valid, active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to ethical practice in the mental health field.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with the following experience will be given preference:

• Prior work experience in a community health setting.
• Experience with teletherapy and the use of digital health platforms.
• Demonstrated success in working with a diverse range of clinical presentations and family dynamics.
