What Will You Do?
The Senior Sales Engineer (SE) for Federal, based in the Washington, DC region, will be responsible for helping drive market success for the Ivanti Federal team. In this role, you will communicate Ivanti's solutions value proposition to Federal prospects and customers, helping executive and technology leaders across the federal government and DoW understand the capabilities and mission value of Ivanti technology and cyber solutions.
You will develop strong partnerships with designated Territory Managers to deliver comprehensive and compelling messaging, lead interactive pre-sales discovery meetings, and analyze customers' current technology environments, architectures, operational requirements, and business needs. You will also own deep-dive technical discussions and translate customer requirements into tailored presentations and/or product demonstrations aligned to each agency's mission objectives.
  • Lead the technical pre-sales engineering process working closely with Federal Account Executives.
    Focuses on large or complex technology sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions.
    Develop and deliver outstanding Ivanti presentations and product demonstrations.
    Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process - from initial discovery to close
    Advises internal and external clients on overall federal specific technology requirements and technology architecture
What Do You Need to be Successful?
  • Pre-Sales Engineering or Systems Engineering experience with Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Management, VPN/Network Security, Service & Asset Management Software, or Patch Management technologies
  • Partner with the regional sales team to develop strategic and technical account and territory plans.
  • Technology consulting experience in Federal Civilian, DoD/DoW, or Federal Systems Integrator (FSI) markets
  • Customer engagement - Must meet with potential customers to understand their endpoint, cybersecurity and service management needs, challenges, and infrastructure, ensuring that our solutions are the perfect fit for them.
  • Product demonstrations - Provide live demos and proof of value for our technology and cyber solutions, tailoring each demo to the specific needs and concerns of the potential customer.
