As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Men’s Talk Mental Health Services, you will engage in a variety of critical responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough and ongoing assessments to identify and respond to the individual needs of patients, ensuring that they receive tailored interventions.
• Actively communicating patient progress with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and involved guardians to foster a supportive treatment network.
• Providing supervisors with a structured schedule for appointments, home visits, and therapy observations, ensuring efficient management and service continuity.
• Coordinating home visits that include observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews, functions that are vital for comprehensive care assessments.
• Overseeing the effective execution of established treatment plans, ensuring that methodologies are applied correctly and consistently.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care strategies and share insights that enhance overall service delivery.
• Completing regular progress notes to document patient developments and areas for follow-up, maintaining thorough records that uphold our commitment to accountability.
• Facilitating training for staff regarding program implementation and documentation to ensure services are delivered with excellence and adherence to best practices.
• Offering follow-up support through interviews and continued observations to help clients maintain and advance their mental health goals.
• Acting as a liaison with the public and mental health community to support the integration of services that align with organizational objectives and community needs.

In this role, you will work with a varied clientele, including adults and youth facing diverse mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, family dynamics, trauma, and substance misuse. The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical environment.
• A commitment to upholding legal and ethical standards within counseling practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate the establishment of rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Previous experience collaborating effectively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive client care.
• Proficiency in using EMR software and related technologies as part of your practice.

Although not mandatory, candidates with experience in specialized fields such as family therapy, couples counseling, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care are highly desirable. Such qualifications will enable you to deliver more nuanced and effective treatment strategies for our varied clientele.
