Responsibilities:
  • Manage employment litigation matters from case evaluation through resolution, including trial when necessary.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation-related documents.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery, and appear at hearings.
  • Represent clients during mediations and settlement negotiations.
  • Develop litigation strategy and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the life of each case.
  • Perform legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy for state and federal courts.

Qualifications:
  • Active Arizona Bar license in good standing is required.
  • Arizona residents are strongly preferred, though qualified out-of-state candidates will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of plaintiff-side labor and employment litigation experience is required.
  • Experience handling wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, leave-related, or other employment law matters.
  • Strong background in motion practice, including drafting and arguing substantive motions.
  • Trial experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and client management skills.
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a fully remote environment and enjoys managing an active litigation caseload.
