Title: HR Director

Reports To: Chief HR Officer

The Role

The Director of Human Resources is a highly hands‑on leader responsible for managing all core HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This role owns day‑to‑day HR operations, leads recruiting efforts, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HR systems, while serving as a trusted partner to leadership and employees.

This position is ideal for an HR leader who is confident recruiting revenue‑generating roles, comfortable working directly in HR systems, and skilled in managing and reconciling HR and benefits‑related data, invoices, and reports, working closely with payroll manager and CHRO.

Responsibilities include:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead full‑cycle recruiting for sales and non‑sales roles, with demonstrated confidence and success recruiting these positions

  • Manage job requisitions, postings, sourcing, interviewing, offers, and background checks using Greenhouse ATS

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to assess talent, manage pipelines, and make hiring decisions

  • Own onboarding processes including documentation, new hire orientation, and first‑day experience

  • Track and report on open requisitions, time‑to‑fill, referrals, and hiring trends

Employee Relations & Performance

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters

  • Advise managers on communicating performance issues, coaching, and overall resource for managers

  • Conduct investigations, manage harassment claims, and mediate employee issues

  • Handle terminations, severance documentation, and exit interviews

Benefits, Leave & Total Rewards

  • Manage all benefits administration including open enrollment, vendor relationships, audits, and invoicing

  • Oversee 401(k), FSA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA, paid family leave, and wellness programs

  • Working closely with finance, oversee compensation changes, commission updates, and payroll coordination

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Together with the Payroll Manager, maintain HRIS (ADP) and ATS (Greenhouse) data accuracy and reporting

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Manage employee files, I‑9s, policy documentation, and training compliance

  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics including headcount, turnover, and time‑off reporting

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 7+ years experience with Human Resources

  • Strong background in hands‑on recruiting, HR operations, and employee relations

  • Experience recruiting sales talent

  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities

  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels

This position reports to our New York City headquarters in midtown Manhattan Monday through Thursday with the option to work from home on Friday.

Salary Range: 120,000-130,000 USD Annually, Bonus Eligible
