• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments of patients' emotional and psychological needs in a hospice setting.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s unique circumstances and preferences.
• Perform evidence-based interventions, offering strategies to support mental health and coping mechanisms for patients and their families.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, helping them navigate the complexities of end-of-life issues.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health and hospice care to continuously enhance service delivery.

You will engage primarily with patients receiving hospice care, often facing complex emotional and mental health challenges related to terminal illnesses. Your expertise will play a vital role in alleviating anxiety and depression, enabling patients to find peace and comfort in their final days. By focusing on trauma-informed care, you will support a diverse range of clients, respecting their varied backgrounds and individual needs.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or hospice care is necessary.
• Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions and the ability to apply these in a tailored approach for hospice patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and families.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address unique patient circumstances.

While the minimum requirement is 2 years of clinical experience, candidates with prior experience in hospice care or palliative settings will be highly regarded. • A competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
