This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home in Edmonds, WA. Our telehealth facility facilitates easy access to care for both patients and staff. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial evaluations to assess patients’ psychological needs and challenges.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address their unique mental health goals.
• Facilitating regular therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster recovery.
• Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment strategies based on patients' responses and feedback.
• Educating patients and their families on trauma and stress coping mechanisms to enhance their understanding and self-management capabilities.
• Coordinating with external social and medical agencies, and community outreach programs, ensuring patients have access to comprehensive care resources.
• Participating in continuous education to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Your primary focus will be on supporting individuals who have experienced trauma injuries and are facing mental health challenges as a result. This patient population includes diverse backgrounds and experiences, emphasizing the need for a sensitive, adaptive counseling approach. Helping these patients navigate their trauma and achieve personal goals is central to our mission, and your role will be pivotal in fostering resilience and emotional recovery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with trauma patients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and team members.

While not mandatory, the following experience is highly desirable:

• Familiarity with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, facilitating patient management and documentation processes.
