Remote work is authorized under this contract

U.S. Citizenship or Green card holder

Position Summary:The Business Analyst Tester supports eCAPS requirements analysis, business-process validation, defect and change-request analysis, functional testing, user acceptance testing, and project documentation. Coordinates with FEMA stakeholders and the development team to confirm that approved changes meet business, functional, security, and accessibility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, document, validate, and maintain functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Analyze reported issues, Change Requests, Defect Reports, workflows, interfaces, forms, reports, search functions, and system logs.
  • Develop test cases, test scripts, use cases, acceptance procedures, and traceability documentation.
  • Support integration, functional, regression, user acceptance, performance, and Section 508 testing.
  • Record test results, identify defects, track corrective actions, and verify approved resolutions before release.
  • Support user documentation, Quick Reference Guides, training materials, meeting minutes, and weekly activity reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience performing business analysis and software testing for enterprise information systems.
  • Experience documenting requirements, workflows, use cases, test cases, defects, and acceptance results.
  • Ability to coordinate with users, developers, project personnel, and Government stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, configuration-controlled testing, and system-development documentation.
  • Federal experience is preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
